Watched 3 young men move one of these homes in today! Impressive how smoothly they worked even with a few obstacles in their way! Great job guys!!
In the early process of getting a quote, J & H did a reasonable job although they were slow in getting back to me. The process of setting up my new home went fairly well although communications from J & H was very poor. At set up I pointed out to the set up crew all the water and electrical lines and they were marked by flags. After the set up I noticed that one of the piers was directly on top of a main water line and shut off valve in the park I live in. I emailed J & H asking them to come move the pier about a foot and received no response. I contacted them again with no response. I called the office and talked to Joe who said he would get back to me, which he did. He told me they could not move the pier because of the engineering. This was false as they did not use any engineering to set up the home. I kept trying to convince them to come move it and they mostly ignored me. After the skirting was put on, they sent me a final bill. I sent it back to them and told them I had a check here they could collect when they came to move the pier. So they instead filed a lien against the property and the trailer. The Park Manager finally got involved and talked to Rob directly after a few attempts and told Rob that if he ever wanted to do business in this park again, he would move the pier. Someone came within 3 hours of that conversation and I have paid the outstanding amount. So sad that a good experience had to turn bad due to lack of care and follow up.
