Sue Schmeltz is a certified physician assistant who works together with Michael J. Freeman, MD, in Ocala and The Villages, Florida. Sue helps patients with a variety of dermatologic conditions, including acne, melanoma, eczema, and psoriasis. Sue has a real passion for preventive medicine. She's firmly committed to patient education and preventive tests such as skin cancer screenings. In the clinic, her goal is to create a clean, honest, and positive experience for all patients.Sue earned her bachelor of science in sports medicine at Elon University. She went on to earn her master's in physician assistant studies at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Sue has worked in various specialties throughout her medical career, including cardiac surgery, orthopedics, and clinical research at Shands Hospital.
