General Info

Dr. Charles F. Paglia is a board-certified optometric physician with years of experience in the field. He practices primary care optometry with special interests in the treatment of unusual refractive errors and contact lens vision correction. Due to his own need for eyeglasses and contact lenses, he has always found vision and the science of optics interesting. A veteran to Ocala Eye, Dr. Paglia first joined us in 1997 and after his career took him elsewhere for some time, we were honored to have him rejoin the Ocala Eye family in July of 2017. He is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts and received his optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston in 1994. Dr. Paglia completed his clinical training at New England Eye Institute, Lahey Clinic Medical Center, and Veterans’ Administration Hospitals in Boston and Bedford, Massachusetts. During his training, he was presented with several awards for contact lens fitting and clinical excellence.
