Over 55 years ago Collingswood Church of Christ began with a few people with few resources but a whole lot of faith. The church met in member's homes, a public school and rented space while plans were developed for a new building. Land was purchased and the doors of the original building opened in 1955. By 2004 we doubled the size of our facility and now look forward to serving Collingswood and the surrounding communities for the next 50 years plus. We are a nondenominational church where you can truly belong. We come together because God has forgiven our sins and is changing us into something new. As a group of people, we experience Jesus- His love, compassion, and grace. He fills us with His healing Spirit and calls us to follow Him. The Collingswood Family is a safe place where you too can experience love, acceptance, and forgiveness. Fay Ceraso: " My husband and I used to go to two separate churches, and the children would sometimes go with him and sometimes go with me. Some members from the church came around and taught me. Then Tony started to study with the minister. We were baptized and at last all of us were worshipping together. Our boys grew up in the church and are now blessed with Christian wives and children ( our grandchildren ) who also worship here." Dave Williams: "Given the diversity, we continue to be an example of those who are seeking a church that knows no boundaries and sees no difference between black and white, for we are all one in Christ.
