In my Opinion, this place is a TOTAL RIPOFF. They charged almost 3 times the rental rate of nearby construction rental businesses. I could buy the same same 50 units of shoring for $1260 and they charged me $1600. for two months rental. Clearly, Luz Serna rental is a ripoff. Dixie Clamp charges $278. / month for rental of better product, delivery included. The owner in my opinion is a belligerent, arrogant JA. Avoid this place for rental. The rates, in my experience, are far above and not consistent with the reasonable rates. I ended up returning 50 shoring posts after two months rental for $1600. I bought the exact same item for under $24 each. When the outrageous rate was discovered the owner offered to let me keep the old posts for $30. each with no credit for the $1600. rental. He told me they cost $70. each but lied as I bought them form Able Construction in Miami for $23.78 each. Able informed me Serna buys the same item from them. This guy is bad. Able construction in Miami was a joy to deal with as is Dixie Clamp. Luz Serna equipment is not reasonable.
