George Payne Cossar State Park offers a variety of hunting, fishing, water skiing and boat launching opportunities for individuals of all ages. The park s more than 10 air-conditioned cabins can accommodate up to six people. The cabins are equipped with basic kitchen equipment and are furnished with bed and bath linens. George Payne Cossar State Park offers cafeteria-style dining options. In addition, the park features Cossar's Restaurant, which serves dinner and prepares banquet meals for special occasions. It also maintains an 18-hole disc golf course and several playgrounds. George Payne Cossar State Park is a part of the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks, which is administered by the state government of Mississippi.
