General Info
B-Love’s Guesthouse is a boutique hotel with an art gallery and urban garden. Make yourself at home in the perfect haven centrally located between San Francisco, Downtown Oakland, Emeryville, and Berkeley. Established in 2008 and set in a lovely Victorian house, B-Love’s Guesthouse is a perfect stay for the visiting artist, digital nomad, or business professional. Black woman-owned and operated, B-Love’s is an extension of artist and activist Traci “B-Love” Bartlow’s lifestyle of wellness and creativity. In the 10 + years of business, we have cultivated a unique experience in lodging that reflects our owners background as an African American woman with roots in the Black farmers in Texas, social justice activism, and the cultural renaissance of the Bay Area. She has welcomed thousands of people from all over the world who are kind and respectful and are in need of a good night’s rest, want a connection with like-minded people, seeking inspirational performance and visual art. Our owners has developed a unique indoor/outdoor gallery experience. It features Oakland Picture Lady: Tales of a 90’s Girl, an exhibition of photographs, collages, and short stories she captured in the Bay Area in the 1990’s when she was a Hip Hop photojournalist. Gallery tours are open to the public on Saturdays in the summer months. Ms. Bartlow leads a guided tour sharing history of the neighborhood, the property architecture, and her photography archive. The Gallery Experience is also available to group tours.B-Love’s Guesthouse is a boutique hotel with an art gallery and urban garden.
