Established in 1981, Family First Urgent Care is formerly known as Walk-In Medical Treatment Office in West Long Branch. Dr. Dennis Edgardo C. Mojares, Sr. has provided urgent care, primary care and minor surgery in this community for generations. This practice was the first Urgent Care Center in Monmouth County, and one of the first in the state of New Jersey. Dr. Richard A. Mojares, MD, FAAP joined the practice in 2002. He is dual board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, providing primary care and urgent care for all ages. Dr. Rich also admits patients to Monmouth Medical Center or Jersey Shore Medical Center if that level of care is warranted.

Urgent Care is the delivery of ambulatory medical care for acute non-life threatening illness and injury that is either beyond the scope of the typical primary care medical practice or retail clinic. Urgent Care Centers provide walk-in and extended hour access for medical care. Any serious or life threatening illness or injury should immediately go to the Emergency Room.
