thletex Physical Therapy provides the following specialties:Orthopedic Physical Therapy with state-of-the-art equipment such as Biodex, Isoflex, Stepmaster, Precor, and Schwinn. Athletex Physical Therapy provides the latest in modalities, such as Ultrasound, Electrical Stimulation, Anodyne Therapy, Lymphatic Stimulation, and Low-Level Laser/ Photo Therapy.Sports Specific Physical Therapy with an experienced staff and the latest in rehabilitation technology. Programs are provided that not only help to recover from the injury, but prevent it from reoccurring in the years to come.Aquatic Physical Therapy with the Ferno/ Hydrotrak Underwater Treadmill. Aquatic Physical Therapy provides a medium to reduce weight on the affected area , while supporting and strengthening with less pain.Back Education includes hands-on experience, an illustrated home guide, and exercises to deter reoccurrence.Manual Therapy is provided by Physical Therapists with extensive education involving Joint Mobilization.Fitness Programs are designed by a staff Physical Therapist/ Exercise Physiologist with Division 1 Collegiate Experience. Programs are created for the competitive athlete and the novice.Work Conditioning and Industrial Rehabilitation strictly adhering to the guidelines provided by the American Physical Therapy Association. Therapists educated by the methodologies of Saunders, Blankenship, and Isernhagen. State-of-the-art equipment that allows the material handler or non-material handler to conform to the physical demands required for a return to full duty. Three Phases include Aerobic Conditioning Phase, a Strengthening Phase, and a Functional Activity/ Lifting Phase. Therapists visit onsite when necessary.Neurologic Physical Therapy with a staff experienced in pain control and hands-on manual therapy. Exercise Programs are initiated under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Illustrated Home Exercises and Lifting Education is provided to ALL PATIENTS.Functional Capacity Evaluations are performed by Physical Therapists experienced in treating Industrial Injuries and educated by such Industrial Experts as Blakenship, Isernhagen, and Saunders. Static Strength Testing and Functional Assessments can be performed as a cost saving alternative when Functional Capacity Evaluations are not necessary.
