I've been coming here for years, and have had consistently good service. They aim to please, and as long as you communicate what you want, they will either provide it or will tell you it's not possible. You can't ask for more than that! Appointments are recommended; sometimes you have to wait a bit for services without an appointment, but they do their best, always.

I have been going here for years. Its not an upscale salon so it what it is. Recently over the last few months the service has become completely substandard. The owner does not care about quality services or customer experience. I am sad to say I will not return.

I went to island nails today and I can't say I was impressed. I got there and a lady yelled across the room, asking me what I wanted. I waited til she came to me to tell her I wanted a mani/pedi and I was instructed to pick out a color. She quickly put me in a chair to soak and she work on another customer. After about an hour she made it to me and she and her partner were quick and professional with getting my services completed. All was pretty average, specially for the price (40 bucks for the mani/pedi) until I took her up on here offer to get my eyebrows waxed. The lady who did my nail also did the waxing and she quickly did the wax. Wasn't a problem til I realized she took off half my eyebrows. They are now pencil thin. I won't be going back to island nails.

One tech did such a great job with my daughter's mani/pedi however the tech that did mine cut 2 of my finger cuticles and 1 of my toe's which is now infected and very sore.

They are basically like every other nail spa in Oak Harbor. Nothing special, but they do a decent job. I got a great full set done there, and it was done within an hour. The only downfall was that the nail tech did cut my fingers with the drill & file, so i have cuts under 3 of my fingers that sting a little bit. I probably won't go back because I usually get my nails done at a different place, but it's a good walk in place if you don't have time to make an appointment at somewhere higher-end, and need your nails done asap that day. My nails look good. Average rating, and it's what you'd expect in Oak Harbor.

New to oak harbor, I decided to try Island Nail and Spa next to Hallmark, very clean and upscale salon. Experienced, and professional service, I was in and out within an hour. My nails have stayed nice for 3 weeks! Try them you love them!
