I love this place! I have been going here for almost a year. I would give 5 stars but, I had one bad experience...one of the women was doing my nails, a full set. I told her I wanted them relatively short because I am a cheerleader and I can't have them long. She would barely trim it off then get mad when I told her shorter...after a third time of telling her shorter she just got out the scissors and roughly snipped away at my nails. She was then very rough and grinded into my nail bed until it was burning hot and painful. After she slopped on the fill and led me over to the drying station, she waited a few minutes then came over, without warning and yanked my hands out of the UV drying light and said I was done. This was the only bad experience I have had here and if she is ever working on a day when i want my nails done, I might have to come back later.



On a good note, today I went in and had one of the guys. I think he is relatively new because he was talking about how he just moved here a month ago or something like that. Though he barely knew English, he understood exactly what I wanted and did my nails wonderfully. I could tell he was a perfectionist because he kept on checking to make sure they were all the same length and etc. He waited until they were done drying and looked them over, saw there was a mistake and immediately fixed it. He was very gentle with my nails and made sure I was comfortable the entire time.



You should definitely check this place out, but if there is a lady around 40ish working there make sure you do not get her.

I have been a customer of AV Nail salon for well over a year. At first, I was very pleased with the service and the price. I think I much prefer a female doing the services. The males just do not do a very good job. Today I stopped in for a manicure. The man doing my maincure clippped my cuticles on one finger until it bled. No apologiy, or asking me how I was feeling.'' I did not tip him very much, and it was obvious he was upset. I also, dislike very much that English is not spoken within the shop.....it's nice to have an exchange of some verbal conversation. I think this will be

the last visit at this nail salon.
