He has been recognized for presentations and papers on the subject and completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology. He has taught at the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Nona was recognized as a "Top Doc" in Cardiology by Hour Detroit magazine in 2008.
