  Our hospital is a strong believer in the benefit of an annual exam for your pet. Even though your pet may appear healthy at home, abnormalities can be discovered and helpful advice given during this exam.

Infection Treatment

• Anal Gland Infection Treatment
  SMAH offers technician appointments for our clients if your animal is healthy and has been examined by one of our staff veterinarians within one year. These appointments can be used for updating vaccines, nail trims, anal gland expression, allergy injections and other minor procedures.

Surgery

• Spaying and Neutering
  Blair was born and raised in California. She has been working in the veterinary field since 2004. The last 10 years have been in shelter medicine and rescue work. Blair continues to help Compassion Without Borders by fostering dogs and helping out with their monthly spay and neuter clinic. She currently lives in Oakland with her two rescue dogs Chuleta and Ilsa and her rescue cat Twiggy. Blair’s passions in veterinary medicine are nutrition, surgery and behavior.
