Provided by YP.comOver the weekend, my wife and I went to IKEA to find a couch. At that time we scheduled delivery for today between 1 and 5 pm. I received a call yesterday at 6pm to verify delivery time. To make that delivery time, I had to take 4 hours off of work. At 6 pm with no couch delivered, we decided to call the IKEA store to learn what happened to the delivery. Supposedly, the delivery service attempted to make 1 and only 1 phone call this morning while I was at work where I can not receive phone calls and did not try again during the delivery window I was supposed to be available.
Currently on the line for IKEA call center. There is no way to call IKEA Baltimore directly. According to the IKEA call center, the only option is to reschedule the delivery for a week from the day I paid to receive delivery by. Again I restate, DO NOT PAY FOR DELIVERY FROM IKEA. Better to rent a truck and do it yourself.

Provided by YPmobileMe and my fiance went to the IKEA store on honeygo blvd we received a gift from our house warming party when my fiance went to the counter she was told that we could only get a mailed check and not store credit but when we called customer service about the no receipt return they said it was a satisfaction guaranteed return policy the man Jon in charge of returns said no manager was there on 1/10/15 to find out 15 min later that was a lie he said we were rude and called security who followed us around the store we still spend money and bought a queen size bed and I recorded the entire situation on my phone I will never shop there again and I would not recommend IKEA to a friend

Provided by YP.comThe worst customer service I have ever encountered. I have been trying to almost a month to get broken parts mailed to me and I have been lied to multiple times. Yay! The parts came today! Except that they sent the wrong parts!!!!!!!!
Run, don't walk, from this store.

Provided by YP.comIkea is the place for you. Almost all of the furniture you have to assemble yourself which is one of the reasons it is cheap. The assebly I have never had a problem with, but some may. The furniture for kids is awesome and has lasted me for years. They have a little restaurant that is hit and miss. Some of the food is great while others is not so great, but I suppose that depends on your tastes. Also one of the cheapest places to buy the energy efficient squiggly light bulbs.

Provided by YP.comYou can get everything here - from clothes hangers to plates to kitchen cabinets. Unfortunately many items need assembly but that is why things are so reasonably priced. I also don't consider this long term - last forever furniture. Definitely good for kids and college or a first apartment.
