Founded in 1977, Americad Technology is one of the manufacturers of high precision plastic housings, bezels, enclosures and panels. Based in Norwood, Mass., the company has experience working with vendors, suppliers and companies in the medical equipment, laboratory equipment, electronic test systems and communication industries. Its capabilities include prototyping and short run part production. The materials used include rubber, silicon mold making, casting resins and SLA modeling to produce plastic housings, bezels, enclosures and panels. The company's client base consists of original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and engineering firms. Its complete production line includes casting, cosmetics, paint, silkscreen and secondary assembly as well as in-process and final inspection.
