Went for my eye exam and received great service. . I was taken in a few minutes early. I got a thorough exam. I was explained my options if i need a new set of glasses and what was new on the market these days. . Very informative without any pressure. I would recommend DR Hellman and his staff to friends and family. They went above and beyond to make my experience with them a good one..

The wait time can be very, very long and for some reason they schedule so many follow-up appointments. Patients go in and might have to be seen just to check eye pressure, then they need to go back over and over. I have a feeling it's not for the well-being of the patients but he wants to make money on a regular basis.

After the eye exam they will push you to buy a at least couple hundred dollar eye glasses. Few weeks after the eye exam they will bill you another couple hundreds that said Not covered by your insurance company, even though your last eye doctor never send out this kind of bills to you.

Dr. Hellman is an eccentric personality, yes. However, his exam was thorough and his staff very personable and considerate. I quite enjoyed my time and experience there and the very intelligent and thoughtful dialogue I exchanged with Dr. Hellman.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. You go in and wait for at least an hour every single time you go there, and then you're in with him and he goes in and out several times for various lengths of time, and when the appointment finally is over they expect you to drop 750 dollars on a pair of glasses!!! Won't be returning.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hellman for a number of years. He is thorough, knowledgeable, and willing to explain or answer any concerns/questions. The wait to see him when you have an appointment can be well over one hour. At one point, I got up to leave.

ugh!! Dr. Hellman is very inconsiderate and did not listen to my complaints..He was also unable to explain his fees in relation to my insurance..I think one can get good vision care in many places but this is not one of them!!

I saw Dr. Hellman One time..I found him to be arrogant, rude and highly opinionated..He talked down to me and kept me waiting for over an hour..His office staff spent more time talking amongst themselves than payimg attention to the patents in the office...I have seen several Optometrists over the years and he is by far the worst..
