Norwell Visiting Nurse Association, established in 1920, is an independent home health care agency serving Abington, Duxbury, Hanover, Hanson, Kingston, Marshfield, Pembroke, Quincy, Rockland and Weymouth counties in Massachusetts. It offers health care services to patients in their own homes through its certified nurses, doctors and trained medical attendants. The association offers diagnosis and treatment for allergies, wounds, diabetes, chronicle illness, ear and throat infections, sickness and injuries. The rehabilitation services offered by the agency include physical, occupational and speech therapies. The additional services offered include nutrition counseling and health education; assistance with bathing and dressing; nursing and respite care; and medication and dietitian services. Norwell Visiting Nurse Association is approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and is located in Norwalk, Mass.
