Driving around Norwalk and Stamford looking for a place to choose where to get a wedding cake for my wedding, I eventually walked in with my wife to view some wedding cakes. After looking at some books and some of the displays we chose to get a wedding cake there. We chose a cake out of a book on display, we wanted a double layered, double chocolate cake, for about 30 or so people with a beautiful display of smooth chocolate and roses around the cake. The woman that was in charge of making the cakes agreed with what we had said but recommended a frosting coating instead of fondant, saying the frosting would "taste better." We agreed because she said that she could smooth out the cake like the photo in the book and the fact that we mainly wanted to have the cake taste great. She said to us that she would be supplying the flowers and that all we would have to do is supply the cake topping around a week or so before the wedding. Everything was fine and we had no problems
