This is one great BBQ - Texas Style! Meaty ribs, pulled pork, chicken, brisket, steak, and chili are all great. The bar is well stocked with a good variety of wines, liquors and brews. I especially like the chili and chips - never exactly the same but always a tasty lunch with cheese, onion, and jalapeno slices. The surprise winner is their "fish and chips" - a huge portion of fresh haddock or cod with 2 sides. Among the favorite sides are the pinto beans, cucumber salad, sweet potato fries (yum). Dave (the owner), his family and crew work hard to make sure your are welcome and your iced tea is never empty. Thursday evening feature live music starting at 8pm and if you are into sports, there are large screen tv's actually fed with a hi-def signal (many bars just feed standard low def, but not Texas BBQ!) First class and down home all at once.
