all 3 of my kids (recently my husband and myself) have been going here since age 3 making it 11 years we have gone here. Your right, he is real and will not baby your child. I love him! He calls me in after ever cleaning to go over my child's mouth health. He is realistic and not in a rush to do procedures that he thinks child may not need given a little more growth and time. I feel like there are too many kids like 8 and under with braces...they haven't lost most of their baby teeth yet! Like I said, if you want someone to baby kids instead of take care of the problem with a no--nonsense no drama proceed--then pick one another practice.

Great kids dentist.

I like they way he handles children. He treats them like people instead of stupid kids. He has a manner that could put some off, but I find that his non-reaction to a child's anxiety usually soothes it rather than feeding it more. He asks parents to not react, which can be hard for some if they are a bit overprotective. My young children (going here since 3yrs old) have had a positive experience and like going to this dentist. If you are looking for realist, this guy may be right for you. If you are looking for someone to fawn over or feel sorry and overreact during a procedure, this isn't your guy!

My child had a very bad experience with Wald. He has no sympathy for children at all. He doesn't comfort them when they are scared but expects them to act like adults. Parents beware!!
