Jennings County High School offers classes from grades nine through 12, and is located in North Vernon, Ind. The school has guidance, athletic and music departments and its curriculum is aligned with the standards set by the Indiana State Department of Education. The school has various clubs and organizations that include French, German, game, chess and key clubs, the National Honor Society and partners in education. The school additionally provides counseling and guidance services and operates breakfast and lunch programs. Jennings County High School has a library offering more than 20,000 volumes of resource materials, a television studio and daily TV announcements, CD-ROM access through the local area network and the Internet, photocopy services, reading counts program for English, professional materials, research instruction curriculum support and reading promotion.
