Great for beginners or experts, kids and adults. Riding at Potomac Horse Center (PHC) since 1997, I have truly enjoyed every bit of my learning experience. The staff is very knowledgable and VERY hard working, and the barn and lesson program are run well. You feel like family, because they know everyone by name. Their care of horses is compassionate, and comparing the PHC school horses to other barns recently, PHC horses are second to none! Very well trained and safe for the lesson program, as safety of the students, boarders and horses is the staffs number one priority! I have had a great opportunity to learn from many wonderful instructors over the years and have been challenged in my riding ability by all of them. For a public riding facility that accommodates so many daily lessons, as well as great therapeutic program, this place is great. I would highly recommend it to anyone that wants a great riding experience and a challenge. The horses and program are great!
