North Platte High School offers education to students in grades nine through 12. It has an enrollment of more than 1,200 students and is affiliated with the North Platte Public School District. The school s curriculum includes a variety of subjects, such as business and marketing, family and consumer science, industrial arts, computer programming, language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The sports activities offered by the school include football, volleyball, tennis, softball, cross country, golf, wrestling, swimming and diving, soccer and track and field. It also has a library and media center that offers a variety of books, magazines, encyclopedias, biographies and online catalog to students and teachers. It provides a variety of extracurricular activities to students, including band, vocal music, orchestra, cheerleaders, mock trial, and computer and letter clubs. The school is located in North Platte, Neb.
