Wish I would have read reviews before working with Huston Lumber. Sales very nice but many problems on orders, bad wood given, cut wrong: Bad, dented wood given, more then half order cut wrong. My contractor was besides himself with the mistakes. Houston Lumber acted like the mistake was my fault. HL made it right but I had to make two extra trips to drop off bad product and pick up corrected order. Cutting person was angry which was not pleasant for me to deal with. Trim order placed and shack told me to pick up in wrong location after I asked if in other building, wasting time in rain. No big deal if other mistakes not made. Picked up THREE piece order, and was given two. I didn't notice until home. THANK goodness HL was still open and they delivered missing piece.

sales people have made several mistakes in placing orders, not acknowledging their error and putting the blame on the customer. That means the customer ends up eating the cost of that mistake. I won't be buying another nail there, even though I am looking to spend thousands of dollars more on building products, I just won't spend it with Huston. Cannot recommend them, buyers beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
