Located in North Myrtle Beach, S.C., Alligator Adventure is one of the largest facilities for reptile life in the world. The facility also features swamps and marshes, and animals, such as lizards, turtles, snakes, tortoises, giant frogs, crocodiles, river otters, alligators, and tropical birds and bears. It is a house for a wide range of snakes, including ring python, Indonesian water python, African rock python, Columbian boa, king cobra, rhinoceros viper, yellow eyelash viper, green mamba, timber rattlesnake, Madagascan twig-nosed snake, Honduran milksnakes, and green anaconda. It also organizes various live shows and snake handling shows. Alligator Adventure is home to more than 35 different species of exotic birds housed in large habitats scattered throughout the park. The species include chestnut, scarlet macaw, salmon crested cockatoo, African gray parrot, silvery cheeked hornbill, eclectus parrot, love bird and yellow Amazon.
