Never experienced a more deceitful facility than Peabody. The property appearance would seem to reflect a high standard of care but in reality has repeated visits from State Board of Health regarding healthcare complaints. Actually falsified patient records to cover up errors discovered by/discussed with my family. Nursing staff and aides look you in the eyes and lie about care of loved ones. So under-staffed that you have to phone someone to open doors to leave a secure unit because no staff is around. The real shame is that it is supposed to be a Christian facility but not one person, from upper management to nursing to the aides, has the character, grace, compassion, and respect for those who are dependent on their "healthcare" services. If they did, they would tell people to avoid Peabody. Our parent left Peabody physically scarred and in worse condition than when first admitted for long term care.

Peabody has a great rehab to home program---private suites with private showers and bathrooms--a great therapy program too.

Beautiful campus in a lovely community. Great option when searching for retirement communities.
