Located in North Little Rock, Ark., Northwood Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. The school has a cafeteria that serves lunch and breakfast to students. In addition, it offers various after-school programs. The school also operates a library and media center that offers an accelerated reader program. Its academic curriculum includes English, mathematics, science, social studies, computer literacy, art, and health and physical education. Additionally, the school has a counseling and guidance department for students, parents and teachers. It offers a variety of additional courses, such as reading phonics, mathematics, language arts, history and geography. Northwood Middle School is a part of the Pulaski County Special School District.
