The Clark County School District is one of the largest school districts in the United States. It serves students of Clark County, Nev., and has the Curriculum and Professional Development Division that provides curriculum, professional development and educational support services. The district operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Its schools offer a variety of academic curriculum and extracurricular activities. Clark County School District enrolls more than 300,000 students, including over 100 foreign high school students every year. It operates a school located in North Las Vegas, Nev., Theron & Naomi Goynes Elementary School, which enrolls more than 1,000 students from kindergarten through fifth grade.
