Jordan, Apostal, Ritter Associates' goal is to provide a good mix of engineering consulting, software and product development services to its clients. JAR is dedicated to providing expertise in computer methods for structural and interdisciplinary engineering analysis, specializing in computer-aided engineering and computer-aided design solutions to industry, government and the legal community. JAR has added sensor and controller system design, programming and prototyping capabilities. Additionally, JAR provides technical support services under contract with numerous commercial and government technical agencies. Projects that JAR has been involved in include structural analysis of the Hubble space telescope, redesign of NASA's solid rocket booster, dynamic analysis of a piezoelectric transducer for an ultrasonic welding device and nonlinear finite element simulation of wire bonding by capillary compression. JAR was founded in 1977 and is headquartered in North Kingstown, R.I.
