I have a 325I. When the dealership wanted 400 bucks to change a radiator hose, i thought ill do it myself. (Until i screwed it up.) i went to mike at AMA Motors and he hooked it up!! In less then an hour he got the part and did it right there in front of me!!

All he asked was a fair price and i write a review. Thanks mike! I will be back for the next problem and I recommend your service.

Stopped by to see Mike today after finding him on here. WOW... Best service in The Valley! He was able to get me back on the road and my sons 330i has never run better. Highly recommended. I won't go anywhere else for BMW service.

Mike is an awesome mechanic! Super honest! Took my X5 in and he took care of my coolant leak and oil leak problem. Mike explains all the issues before hand in detail. Im mechanically inclined and could have done the work my self but just dont have the time anymore. His labor charges are pricey but still cheaper then the STEALERS! This is the kind of local shop i have been looking for, professional and honest people!

Mike is very honest and knowledgeble in the BMW area. I live 40 miles away and always to to him. Forget the BMW dealers and trust Mike's shop. Highly recommended. A+++++++ grade

I took my mom's BMW here to get the battery replaced and told Mike to call me to authorize repairs. He had called and quoted me $150 for the battery and $80 for labor. "Great!" I thought, as a battery replacement from the dealer cost about $300.



The next day, he called to tell us he was finished and I dropped my mom off to pick up the car. Later, I had mentioned the good price in a conversation and found out my mom was charged $200 for the battery alone!



I called Mike and asked if he remembered me and the price he quoted. He said yes to both. Then after I said he had charged me $50 more than he originally quoted, he suddenly became defensive and argumentative, screaming that he didn't remember what he quoted me and refused to do anything about it.



I recommend that if you MUST do business here, be sure to get EVERYTHING in writing.



****04/17/12 UPDATE: After posting this review, I got a call from Carlos Flores, AMA's lawyer. He stated he saw the receipt for the battery and that it was $200. I have yet to see a copy of said receipt. We agreed that I would look into it and REVISE my negative comments. Shortly thereafter I got a letter in the mail from Zinder & Koch, Carlos' law firm. This letter states that if I do not REMOVE my negative comments by May 1, 2012, "this matter will be referred to an attorney that specializes in Trade Libel Law. In a claim for Trade Libel Law compensatory and possible punitive damages are allow.(sic)"

Mike is exceptiona in what he does. You have to see it to believe it. He deserves a twu thumbs up!!!

If you are looking for an honest mechanic, you should definitely go to Mike at AMA Motors. Mike is extremely knowledgeable and performs quality job. You will be amazed by the cleanness of his mechanic shop.
