Founded in 1976, Metro Electric is an industrial and commercial electrical contractor, which employs more than 100 workers who hold unlimited licenses in South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia. Its client list includes Bayer Corporation, Corning, Johnson Controls, Cummins Engine Company and International Paper Company. In addition, Metro Electric has an engraving operation that will customize control panels, machine identifiers, OSHA tags and legend plates. Metro can engrave on surfaces, such as plastic, wood, glass, acrylics, marble, stainless steel and brass. Metro Electric is headquartered in Charleston, S.C.
