M. K. Chambers is a Michigan-based manufacturer of metalwork machinery. The company is comprised of three operations at a 30,000-square-feet facility in North Branch, Mich., which opened in December 1998. MKC produces Acme Gridleys, Pitler Tornos, Twin Gantry Loaders and the company s brand of Swiss-style lathes, as well as affiliated assembly and tooling of these machines. Custom-built machines provide different operations, including coining, pinching, trim, reaming, assembling, crimping and unload capabilities. M. K. Chambers manufactures rolled bars shipped in 12-foot lengths or blanked into parts per customer requirements.
