Located in North Bend, Ore., the Seniors and People with Disabilities Division is a unit of the Oregon Department of Human Services. The Seniors and People with Disabilities Division provides in-home care, financial assistance and crisis management services. The division also offers investigation and prevention services related to abuse and neglect. It operates the Community Nursing Program, which includes health care services. In addition, the Seniors and People with Disabilities Division licenses and monitors long-term care facilities for senior citizens and individuals with disabilities. The division additionally offers counseling, family support, training-related, and medical and employment assistance services.
