I had been looking for an affordable housing for a senior and came across Christian Life Retirement Center. After walking in the secure front entrance you would never know that this is a HUD subsidized building. The facility is well kept, clean and secure. The building is 5 years old but you wouldn't know it. You can tell the staff enjoys their positions so that says a lot for the company that runs it. There is a manager on site as well as a service coordinator that will help the seniors with their needs. They do not supply any services such as medical, housekeeping, or meals, but these are the services that can be obtained to help the individual stay independent as long as possible. I came out knowing more than when I entered. I was disappointed that they had a waiting list; though it wasn't long I understand why it is worth the wait. I was very impressed!
