Amatex-Norfab Corporation has been manufacturing industrial, heat-resistant textile products for more than 50 years. Its products include high-temperature fabrics for use in marine, petroleum and power-generation applications; safety clothing fabrics for worker safety; and other specialty applications. Special coatings and treatments are available for customer applications. Raw materials that the company uses include fiberglass, continuous filament and staple fiber, as well as aramids such as Kevlar and Nomex and carbons and acrylics. Amatex s products include welding cloth, insulation cloth, pad cloth and marine cloth. Norfab s products consist of safety fabric, aluminized cloth, filtration fabric and heat shield.
