Rex Italian Foods has been a cornerstone of exceptional Italian cuisine in the Chicagoland area for generations. While there may not be a literal "Rex," the name embodies the regal quality and rich tradition of our offerings. Originating in the late 1960s by the Cinquino brothers on Chicago's west side, Rex quickly became synonymous with premium Italian deli fare. After relocating to the north side, we've upheld 4431 N Harlem Ave since 1993. At Rex, authenticity is our hallmark. We meticulously craft our own Italian beef and hand-stuffed sausages, ensuring each bite is a taste of tradition.

Best Italian food ever. Great people, better food. Family owned and operated. You would be missing out if you passed this place up. We go at least twice a week, and could probably go more! My mouth is watering just thinking about the place.
One of the best places around for a solid home cooked meal. Their choices will amaze you and the food will impress. I can't go a week without stopping by for lunch. Family owned and operated after your first experience, you will be coming back for more. Great family, great food, and a great place to sit down and enjoy some really amazing food.
