The Sanitation Division is a part of the Public Works Department, which is governed by the city of Norman in Oklahoma. It offers a range of sanitation services for citizens and businesses. The division is responsible for the collection and disposal of solid waste materials. The Sanitation Division also provides recycling solutions. It operates sanitation administration, commercial collection, compost operations, waste disposal and residential collection sections. In addition, the division maintains a compost facility and recycling centers. The Sanitation Division offers polycarts to the citizens of Norman in Oklahoma. It also has a transfer station for residents, nonresidents and commercial haulers.
