I looked forward to their opening for months! The outdoor appearance of the store is nice and the inside is merchandised very well. That's about where it ended for me. They are limited to sizes S, M and L, which seems like an odd choice in today's clothing market. (Fact: Average size of a woman in the US is 14.) I think they would benefit from stocking a few XL tops. I know the designers they carry make them. Apriot is just choosing not to stock them. Billed as a women's store, but it slants toward junior. Especially in dressy attire! Customer service seems to be lacking as no one said a word to me until I was browsing the hats on my way out. (I checked every rack so that was easily 20 minutes.) I've also been watching their FB page. Beautiful models, but it sure would be nice if one of them was say, a size 8? Looks like I'll keep shopping their Uptown neighbor and keep hoping another real boutique to find it's way to Normal. I won't be back to Apricot.
