I brought my Min Pin to Dr. Pozniak after she fell out of the truck in a parking lot. She couldn't even walk on her back leg. My regular vet checked for a break, which fortunately it was not, and prescribed pain meds for her. She showed no improvement so I wasn't about to keep her on meds. I had heard that there was a pet chiropractor in Virginia Beach so I searched on the web. I found Boulevard Veterinary Hospital. I had no idea that Dr. Pozniak was much more than a chiropractor with such a diversified education in conventional and holistic. I prefer holistic however I don't know a thing about how to prevent heart worm, distemper etc. so conventional is good also. I am so happy to have found Dr. Pozniak! On March 20 she did a chiropractic treatment on my little dog and recommended glucosamine. Today is April 17. She has not walked on 3 legs for a week. I absolutely love the way Dr. Pozniak spent so much time with my dog. Her staff showed both my pins plenty of attention too. Nancy L

I used to come here yrs ago with my old dog when he was alive. One time he had an ear infection and this vet just started plucking at his ear hair while the poor dog was in pain. They charged me for the visit and ointment and sent me to PetSmart to get his ear hair plucked. PetSmart trimmed his ear hair short so he didn't have to be in pain. Freaking people at PetSmart grooming took better care of my puppy than this vet. Another occasion my dog had some an*al gland problem and this vet just sent me home w/ some ointment that didn't even work. Took him to PetSmart again for the same prob and their vet gave him a shot and he was better right away. Again, PetSmart saved the day. Should've known better and went to PetSmart or find another vet. The day my dog died I was at the animal emergency and tried calling this vet. While my dog was dying they said there weren't open yet and I'd have to make an appointment. That's when I finally realized they were all about $$$$ and not me or my dog

A very caring staff and people who truly love animals.My Corgi was paralyzed when I brought him in;two weeks of acupuncture and other treatment; and he walked again. I will always be grateful for my ten wonderful years with that dog. Thanks Doctor Connie!

My 3 dogs and 2 cats love going to Boulevard so much that I get jealous thinking they don't want to come home. The last time I boarded my dogs there all three jumped out of the car and ran to the front door of the office. I thought they were going to break it down. When the kennel ladies came go get my dogs and take them back is was like a family reunion. I left my pets at a wonderful place, I could even log on to their web cams and see my babies playing in their special VIP rooms. I had the most relaxing vacation and never worried about my babies while I was away. One of my dogs even had an ear infection that I had missed but they noticed it and treated it immediately so my baby wasn't in any pain. My babies came home clean, happy and I'm afraid, a little sad to be back at our boring home. I love my Boulevard Vet family and so do my pets. PS. I think my cats like it too but cats just keep it to themselves. They sure came home looking pampered and rested. DDG, Norfolk.

I have been taking my pets to Dr. Pozniak and her staff for over 20 years. They always greet me like family when I walk through the front doors and even know my voice on the phone before I give my name. Dr. Pozniak always takes time to listen to every question I have and to recommend therapies that no other veterinarian could. Sometimes I choose a more holistic approach to care for my pets and sometimes they just need antibiotics and TLC. She lets me choose and helps me make wise decisions. I would never leave this area for fear of never finding another veterinarian to care for my pets the way Dr. Pozniak and her staff can. The prices are amazingly affordable for such a nice practice and when I need medications all I have to do is call or email the staff and all my refills are up and ready the next day. Beautiful new hospital, friendly well trained staff and most of all the veterinary knowledge/skills are in my opinion superior. The highly trained service also offer complimentary solutions for pets. This hospital has tread mills in the water, VIP suites with WebCam capability to ease pet guardians minds while they are away from their pets. They offer acupuncture, Chinese Herbs, chiropractic, range of motion as well as traditional western medicine. Hampton Roads is fortunate to have a hospital of this caliber, I would have expected that only very upscale areas offered this type of service. The cost is very reasonable and the level of care is excellent.
