Northview Middle School, founded in 1922, offers a wide range of educational and enrichment programs to students in grades six through eight. The middle school provides amenities, such as technology labs, a business lab equipped with computers, two photography darkrooms, and a media center equipped with a television studio and editing suite. The school offers classes in subjects that include English, writing, math, history, science, earth science, technology, algebra and geometry. It also offers instructional programs in comprehension, special education and vocabulary. Northview Middle School also provides a wide range of sports activities, including baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, and track and field. The middle school is located in Norfolk, Va.
