  We needed to open our living room/dining room/den area to create a flow through the house in lieu of the "compartmentalized" nature of our 1950's Cape Cod style home. We had ideas of what we wanted to do but did not know how to achieve it. Our neighbor was in the process of having Brian remodel their upstairs to add living space; we looked at the work being done and contacted Brian on their recommendation. Brian met with us the day after we contacted him. We discussed the project; Brian offered suggestions and gave us some time to contemplate. The work involved removing and modifying existing structural and non-structural walls, adding ceiling lights, modifying a gas fireplace, and refinishing hardwood floors, plaster walls, and ceilings. Brian gave us an estimated completion date and stayed on schedule. The team communicated with us on expectations and their progress on a daily basis. They cleaned every day to minimize the invasive nature of a home remodel while we were still living in the house. Our home is now open and functional. The attention to detail is evident in the finished product; this team takes pride in their work. The best compliment we have received from friends is "the area is open and spacious but looks like it has always been this way"!
