  LASIK candidates are typically individuals with myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), or astigmatism who want to reduce their dependency on prescription eyewear. Excellent results can be achieved for patients with a wide range of prescriptions. To be eligible for LASIK, you must be 18 years or older with stable vision for at least one year. You should also have generally good eye health as well as realistic expectations with your potential results. Conditions such as cataracts or glaucoma may impact a patient’s candidacy for this procedure, though other vision correction surgeries may offer similar benefits. Patients with uncontrolled diabetes or rheumatoid arthritis may also not be good candidates for LASIK surgery. The best way to determine your candidacy for LASIK surgery is to schedule a consultation with an experienced eye surgeon.

  Prior to BlephEx treatment, you will undergo a thorough eye examination to determine whether the source of your symptoms is blepharitis or another condition. If you are diagnosed with blepharitis, your eye doctor will likely recommend BlephEx treatment as well as a home cleaning regimen to keep your eyelids clean. We recommended that you do not wear makeup or contact lenses the day of your treatment.

  Dry eye treatment with MiBo Thermoflo is painless, fast, and highly effective. On the day of your treatment, you will recline comfortably in a treatment chair. Your trained eye care professionals will apply ultrasound gel to the sanitized tip of MiBo Thermoflo device, which is shaped to closely fit the contours of your eye. You will relax with your eyes closed as the device applies continuous therapeutic heat to your eyelids and is used to gently massage the meibomian glands. Treatment with MiBo Therapeutic lasts between 8-15 minutes per eye.
