- Deep Cleaning1. Non-Surgical Therapy: The first step in treating periodontal disease is usually non-surgical therapy, which involves deep cleaning of the teeth and gums to remove plaque and tartar. This is done through scaling and root planing, which involves scraping away plaque and tartar from below the gum line and smoothing the roots of the teeth to prevent further buildup.
- DenturesFor people with a missing tooth or even several missing teeth, dental implants can seem like a miracle. They are a wonderful tooth replacement option, which avoids the frustration of dealing with bridges and dentures. Once in place they maintain normal jaw function and look very natural.
- Dental ImplantsRestorative dentistry centers around bringing the mouth back to full functionality. Even if the proper preventative measures have been taken it is possible that restoration still may need to take place. Unavoidable causes, like accidents and genetics, may put a patient at a higher risk of needing restorative procedures at some time in his or her life. Restorative care includes implants, crowns, dentures, bridges, root canals, fillings, bonding and more.
