Terrible experience today at Station Place Caf! We pulled off the road for lunch with 4 adults and 7 children and must have overwhelmed the owner (though seating was sufficient). The first offense came when we ordered a bagel with butter & cream cheese and was told, "nothing complicated". Really? The owner made several disparaging remarks to us and about us to other customers. When the last bagel was brought out- cream cheese only- it was missing the cream cheese and had butter on it. When we corrected the waitress, the owner chimed in with, "just put the cream cheese over the butter, they won't know the difference". What?? This group of 7 kids stayed in their seats, played games and kept their voices to reasonable levels. That didn't stop the owner from telling us that if we were going to come in with such a large group, then the children should at least behave themselves! We confronted her was met with more rudeness. No apologies, she continued to blame us for coming in to her caf!
