I was driving my Dad from Tacoma, WA., to Tepic, AZ, in late July, to see a doctor who he heard from a friend in Mexico could help him with his cancer. As he had nothing to lose, but was physically not allowed to fly, we hit the road, and, of course, encountered car problems. As we had had prior car issues in Eastern WA, I was feeling persistent, a bit impatient, and determined that this problem would be solved for good as I was a woman about to be, for all intents and purposes, not only the sole driver for the upcoming drive down the coast of Mexico, but caregiver to my father ensconced in the passenger seat. My father was getting a weaker and his pain pills made him sometimes "gleeful" and sometimes a bit belligerent. So, needless to say, when I went into Pep Boys without an appointment and asked them to diagnose and to solve the problem, and to finish asap because it was very important that I get moving, I was a bit desperate. They not only fixed it in four hours, but the price was right, and we had no further problems. I think I might have been a bit annoying, but I need to say that I trusted Pep Boys seriously with our lives, and they came through with flying colors. Thank you!!!
