The Hamilton County Sheriffs Office Jail Division has an inmate population of more than 250. It features over 220 beds that are separated into various housing units. The facility houses prisoners charged with several offenses, such as shoplifting, public intoxication, rape, burglary and murder. The division s staff is responsible for the care, custody and safety of inmates. The Hamilton County Sheriffs Office Jail Division has transportation officers who take prisoners to the courthouse and state institutions. It provides a variety of laundry and meal preparation services. The division also offers medical and dental services. It manages a staff of nearly 50 employees, including approximately 40 correctional officers. The Hamilton County Sheriffs Office Jail Division is located in Noblesville, Ind.
