The Hamilton County Courts Department of Probation Services provides programs that reduce delinquent and criminal activity and enhance the safety of the community of Indiana. The department serves circuit, superior and Carmel city courts through the preparation of presentence and preliminary investigation reports, and the supervision of misdemeanor, felony and juvenile offenders. It is operated by Hamilton County, Ind., which additionally manages health, parks and recreation, plan commission, emergency management and human resources departments. The county also maintains construction and development, drainage, emergencies and taxation departments. Its crime and protection department administers the Drug Abuse Resistance Education Program (D.A.R.E.). The Hamilton County Courts Department of Probation Services is located in Noblesville, Ind.
