Nixa Junior High School has an enrollment of more than 1,200 students and is located in Nixa, Mo. It offers classes from grades nine through 12 in various subjects, such as communication arts, industrial arts, math, physical education, social studies, business, science, music, special education, and family and consumer science. The school s athletic activities include volleyball, golf, soccer, basketball, tennis, wrestling, track and field, cross country, swimming and baseball. It also offer extracurricular activities, such as art club, book club, magic club, youth alive, science explorers, writer s guild and National Honor Society. The school facility includes a library, media center, common rooms, stadium, theater, gym and a career opportunities center. The school operates under the Nixa R-2 schools.
