Established in 1915, the YWCA of Niagara is an educational organization. Located in Niagara Falls, N.Y., it conducts awareness programs to eliminate racism and empower education of women. The facility provides comprehensive alternatives to domestic violence, shelter for women/children, transitional/supportive housing for homeless individuals, fitness center and sports programs for girls. YWCA of Niagara is one of the leading providers of domestic violence programs and shelters in the United States. It also works as a social service and welfare organization.
