Beautiful place with lots of antiques and nice dance floor. People are friendly there. Did not taste food yet but it has good reports from what I've read.

Was in town looking for my hometown favorite, so of course I thought of the Bakery Lounge. They have a great beef on weck. The beef is tender, moist, and flavorful and the rolls are crusty and hard, perfectly complimenting each other. The gravy was exploding with flavor and the fries had a perfect crispiness to them. My companions had fish fry that they really enjoyed, as well. The dining room atmosphere was dim, quiet and intimate. The wait staff was attentive without hovering. All in all, a very enjoyable experience. I am looking forward to going back for more!

The fact that this family owned restuarant has been going for over 3 decades should speak for itself. The menu has a great selection, plus there are always a few daily specials that are totally worth trying. And if you don't try their cheese cake you are missing out on something really special. Every time I visit from Seattle you can bet I will be popping in.
